Hello Pinon Parents & Families,

Three busy weeks ahead! Here is a look at this week:

• Middle of the Year state-mandated assessments will be administered this week and next week: Amira (K-2nd) and iMSSA (3rd-6th). Please make sure your students are in attendance as much as possible so they dn't have to miss class time to do make-ups.
• Pinon Spelling Bee is this Thursday. Parents of contestants are invited to attend - please sign in at the office. Students competed in their classroom competitions in November. The winner of this spelling bee will go on to the district bee in January!
• Poetry Cafe for 5th grade is also on Thursday. This event will be held in the cafeteria and classroom teachers will send you all the details.
• Pinon PTO Meeting is this Friday at 2:45 in the library. Childcare is provided with advanced notice. Here is the AGENDA 12/15

School Hours: Monday - Friday 8:10 a.m. to 2:40 p.m.

 Early Bird Club drop off is from 7:30-7:45. Please complete a permission form for your child to participate.

**Students arriving after 7:45 will need to wait with their parent until 7:55 when morning supervision begins. They are NOT allowed on the playground until that time.**
